Community Outreach
From two Colorado governors and CU Regents to a herd of Ralphie Handlers on Folsom Field, Gamma Kappa members have deep community roots in Boulder and throughout Colorado. Foundation funding will expand our six generations of community leadership, support and involvement.
When the historic Marshall Fire destroyed 1,084 homes in the Boulder suburbs of Louisville and Superior, Gamma Kappa alumni leaders responded with a special donation to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund, giving direct financial assistance to neighbors whose homes were damaged or destroyed.
The Foundation will broaden relationships between the chapter and local/statewide community with support focused on safety (first responders and law enforcement associations), vocational training (community TEC centers), youth programs, and disaster relief.
