Student Scholarships

The “Helping Hand,” the Foundation pillar that focuses on Scholarships and Grants, recognizes and supports well-rounded brothers who exemplify characteristics commensurate with Love, Truth and Honor – the foundation Sigma Nu is built on.

Brothers applying for financial assistance will be evaluated on a set of minimum eligibility criteria including, but not limited to financial need, academic performance, chapter involvement, community engagement and integrity. Awardees receive chapter housing or tuition assistance, vital to their desire to live and study at CU.

Funding also supports chapter LEAD programs, designed to empower undergraduates with the training and tools to be ethical, selfless leaders in the fraternity, community and world.

There are three opportunities that award financial assistance to deserving brothers who qualify:

  • Aaron “Neville” Flemming Scholarship
  • Henry Higgins Heart of Gold Scholarship
  • Brothers in Arms Grant

Two of these scholarships were established by chapter brothers and their families to honor brothers Flemming and Higgins whose lives were cut short, but who both made an everlasting impact on our lives and etched their influence in our hearts.
